Our request to the general peasantry for control and management of locusts
Our request to the general peasantry for control and management of locusts
1. Locusts are insects that become active with the sunrise, so they eat the young shoots, leaves, stalks, and crops of the green plants around the place where they live after sunrise. We are aware of the possibility of locust swarms.
2. As soon as the swarm of locusts starts coming, let us inform the community, ward office, municipality, agricultural knowledge center, and security agencies.
3. Cover the beds of the nursery, home garden, kitchen garden, paddy, millet, etc. with swings or nets.
4. Let's catch locusts with the help of nets while the locusts are living and use them as food for ducks and chickens.
5. If we see a swarm of locusts flying, we should not let them sit in the field by whistling loudly, shouting, blowing plates, tin, or other noisy objects, and emitting smoke.
